A group of suspects robbed a fuel station in Hazyview in the early hours of Tuesday, 10 January, according to police.
Four armed suspects rob fuel station
According to police, a group of around four armed suspects driving in two vehicles, possibly a blue Toyota Fortuner and a Ford Everest, stormed into a filling station around 01:40.
The suspects are said to have threatened the gas station attendants and security personnel with guns.
They allegedly fired shots to frighten anyone who tried to approach them.

It is also claimed that while attempting to obtain the money, they damaged an ATM at the liquor store.
They before fled empty-handed.
The suspect then allegedly blew up an ATM and a drop-in safe at the gas station. They are said to have made off with an undisclosed sum of money. No one was hurt in the incident.
Under the guidance of the Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, a team of experts in the field of investigation has been assembled, and these members are working to bring perpetrators to justice.
